Well here we go again, rapper Mystikal is having some legal issues again and its for the same crime he was convicted for back in 2003. According police in last October an incident happened at a Shreveport Casino which a victim reported to local authorities.
Sex crime investigators linked Mystikal to the sex crime after recieving enough evidence to charge the rapper. Mystikal was charged along with a 26 year old man from Texas named Averweone Holman, in which both are charged with 1st degree rape and bail has been set at $2 Million.
This isn’t the first time Mystikal has faced this kind of charge. He plead guilty to sexual battery and extortion charges in 2003 and was released in January 2010. When released, he faced five-years probation and was required to register as a sex offender in the state of Louisiana.
Mystikal is known for his work with rapper Master P (Percy Miller) and his top twenty hits “Shake Ya Ass/Shake It Fast” and “Danger (Been So Long)” both released in 2000.
Word from one of Mystikal’s close associates are saying they haven’t heard from the rapper and they are worried that he may possibly commit suicide if he hasn’t already.
He is facing life for the current charges and may possibly never get out of jail since he has already been convicted of this crime previously.
Shreveport police are also looking for 42-year-old Tenichia Wafford of Harker Heights, Texas in connection with the case.
Wafford allegedly tried to convince the victim to drop the charges against Mystikal and Holman.
Investigators say Wafford faces a charge of accessory after the fact to first-degree rape. Her bond is set at $200,000.00.
